Built for the hour when the city goes quiet.
We opened Kavella because Marylebone deserved somewhere for the second half of the evening. A room to slip into after the theatre, after dinner, after work — where the drinks are made with care and no one is in a rush to turn the table.
The bar programme is led by Maren, previously of a certain hotel bar in Fitzrovia you'll know. The kitchen is small and focused: fifteen dishes a night, prepared to order, listed on a card that changes with the season.
We keep the music low, the lights lower, and the door open until two.
